Dr. Jill Bolte Taylor embraced the audience in Reno on April 20 and they in return gave her a long standing ovation and then sat down again, not wanting to leave the energy of the moment. It was an over the top evening!A few comments: Suzie, the lecture was FANTASTIC! My daughter, my husband, and I couldn’t stop talking about what she said. Especially because my daughter is in a Teaching program, she was very excited about her findings from her speech. Thank you for bringing Dr. Jill to us. Reno: AMAZING Event! Dr. Jill is lovely, extremely engaging & very intelligent. Her love of the brain is quite contagious. Her insights & delivery make the science of the brain digestible to any layperson (such as myself). Understanding physiology, choice, action… It makes you wonder how come we don’t study the brain in grade school! If you weren’t able to make the event check out her TED talk!!! All I can say is WOW — thank you Dr. Jill for a wonderful evening! |
